Plain answers about what we collect, why, and what happens to it.
What we collect, and why
This website collects personal information in one place: the application form. When you apply, we ask for your name, email, phone (optional), city, and language preference; a small set of questions specific to the academy you choose; and standardized background information — education level, professional field, country of residence, age range, and gender. The background questions exist so we can understand, in aggregate, who the Academies serve; every one of them offers a “prefer not to say” option, and choosing it does not affect your application.
Browsing this site does not require an account, and the site itself does not set advertising or tracking cookies.
How your application travels
When you press send, your application is delivered by FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a form-delivery service that transmits your answers by email to our admissions circle at admissions@anft.earth and sends you an automatic confirmation. FormSubmit acts as a processor in this delivery; its own privacy practices are described at formsubmit.co/privacy.html.
How we use it
Application information is used to evaluate and respond to your application, to communicate with you about it, and — in anonymized, aggregated form — to understand the communities our programs reach. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Retention and your rights
We keep application records only as long as needed for admissions and program administration. You may ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to withdraw an application, by writing to admissions@anft.earth. If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, or another jurisdiction with statutory privacy rights, those rights apply to our handling of your information.
